Last updated: October 6, 2026. This policy explains what information US Citizenship Prep (us-citizenship-test.app) collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Study progress. If you create an account, we store your email address and which questions you have marked as mastered, so your progress follows you across devices. This progress is visible only to your account.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, and message so we can reply.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We record anonymous visit counts (page views, language chosen, device type, test results). These records contain no name, email, or account identity.
- Local storage. Your study language, chosen test version, and progress are also saved in your browser so the site works the same on your next visit. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- ZIP code lookups. When a question asks about your representative, senator, or governor, you may enter a ZIP code. It is used only to look up the current officeholders for that area and is not stored.
Cookies and advertising
This site shows advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info.
- Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Advertising Policies.
- Advertising identifiers may be used for ad personalization where permitted. You can also manage app or browser ad settings on your device.
Analytics
We use anonymous analytics (including Google Analytics) to understand which pages are visited and how the study tools are used. Google Analytics may set cookies; see Google's Privacy Policy for details. You can block analytics cookies with your browser settings or an extension.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. Account data is stored with our hosting provider (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) strictly to run the features above. Contact messages are seen only by the site team. We may disclose information if required by law.
